Since the 2021-2022 academic year, the Department has been operating the "Laboratory of Biochemistry, Ergophysiology, Physiology, and Pharmacology" (BIO.ERG.FY.FA.), which was established by the Government Gazette-ESTABLISHMENT-LABORATORY-TEDD.pdf. The Laboratory serves the educational and research needs in the fields of Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Human Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Ergophysiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Molecular Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacogenetics, Immunopharmacology, Toxicology, Human Nutrition, and Sports Nutrition. It supports research, development, innovation, and specialized education based on its purpose and mission in the above fields of knowledge at the regional, national, European, and international levels.
The mission of the Laboratory is to cover the teaching, laboratory, and research needs of the Department at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, while its purpose is to be a valid scientific body for primary research, study, and development of scientific knowledge that will contribute research data to the scientific community and meet the needs of the local community by providing services in the fields of human exercise physiology, pharmacology, and nutrition
