The Department's postgraduate studies are mainly based on:

• the Department's profile and mission in the field of higher education, but also in the region of Messinia and the Peloponnese,
• the possibilities afforded by its resources for their successful implementation,
• the need to update teaching with contemporary scientific data that will be produced during the implementation of these postgraduate programs,
• the need to achieve the Department's goal of expanding its research activities and collaborations at the national and international level, and
• the need to carry out research projects in collaboration with the Peloponnese Region and productive bodies in the area to solve local problems.

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics has submitted a complete file for the implementation of a Master's Program, which is currently under review.
