SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES
DEPARTMENT OF NUTRITIONAL SCIENCE AND DIETETICS
Definition of excellence-praise in the Department of Nutritional Science and Dietetics
The award will be based on the academic performance of students during the previous academic year. For example, in 2026, undergraduate students with the highest performance during the period from 01.09.2024 to 31/08/2025 will be awarded.
For each year of study, out of the total four years of the undergraduate program, the first student of the academic year of reference with the highest academic performance will be rewarded, as reflected in the average grade of the undergraduate program courses. An additional criterion for the award of excellence is the successful completion of all courses, general background, specialization, and elective, up to the academic year of reference. Failure to complete one or more courses in the academic year of reference and/or previous years is grounds for exclusion.
The student with the highest academic performance in each year will be awarded an honorary commendation for excellence, which will state the average grade and be signed by the Chair of the Department. In addition, the 4th-year student with the highest academic performance will receive a prize in the form of a gift.
