The Department owns the”Laboratory of Biochemistry, Ergophysiology, Physiology and Pharmacology”(BIO.ERGO.PHY.PHA.) recently established by Government Sheet 1797/B’/13.04.2022. The Laboratory serves the educational and research needs in the subjects of Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Human Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Molecular Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacogenetics, Immunopharmacology, Toxicology, Human Nutrition and Sports Nutrition. It also supports research, development, innovation and specialized training based on its purpose and mission in the above fields of knowledge at regional, national, European and international level.
Laboratory’s mission is to meet the teaching, laboratory and research needs of the Department at undergraduate and postgraduate level, while its purpose is to be a valid scientific body for primary research, study and development of scientific knowledge that will contribute research data to the scientific community and cover needs of the local community by providing services in matters of ergophysiology, pharmacology and human nutrition.
